Great North Run 2018

If you would like to secure a place to run the Great North Run on 9th September 2018 and wish to raise funds for the Hospice please contact Supporter Services for more information and to be added to our expressions of interest list. All runners will receive a sponsorship pack, which includes sponsor forms and a running vest.

Bark in the Park 2018

We are inviting dogs and their well-behaved humans to join us on Sunday 15th April 2018, for our 3rd Bark in the Park at Darlington’s South Park.

There is a £5 entry fee per dog, and each entrant will receive a rosette and a goody bag.

Steve Graham Everest Expedition

Darlington based mountaineer and long distance runner Steve Graham will climb Mount Everest in March 2018. As part of his 7 summits challenge, the Everest Expedition will raise as much money as possible for St Teresa's Hospice and Prostate Cancer UK.

Andrew Robson Bridge Day

Andrew Robson is coming North! On Saturday 24th March 2018 Andrew will lead a day of Bridge in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice at the Croft Hotel.

Burns Supper

Celebrate the life and works of Robert Burns at our annual Burns Supper which will take place at the Mercure Darlington Kings Hotel on Saturday 27th January 2018.

In addition to a delicious four course meal there will also be a raffle, table game and dancing with a traditional ceilidh band.

Fonecabin Christmas Raffle

From 1st November Fonecabin are offering the chance to win a brand new iPhone 10 in their Christmas Raffle. Tickets will be available from Fonecabin, Darlington, and cost £10 each with all proceeds being in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice. Only 200 tickets will be available so hurry!

On Saturday 23rd December we will be holding our annual Christmas Cracker Concert. Join us for a night of festive fun with audience participation, carols, choirs, soloists and our wonderful volunteer orchestra helmed by Musical Director John Forsyth.

St Teresa’s Hospice will be taking part in the annual Light up a Life appeal later this year, offering you the opportunity to celebrate the life of someone special to you.

Vocal Collective Concert

Vocal Collective will be performing all your Christmas favourites and songs from musicals at The Grange Community Centre, Hurworth, on Saturday 9th December. The concert will raise funds for St Teresa’s Hospice and Hurworth Village Hall. Tickets cost £5 and are available now from the Hospice. Mulled wine and mince pies will be available for a donation.

Letter From Santa

Do you know someone who would like a Letter from Santa? For a suggested minimum donation of £5 we will provide a letter to your child from Santa, which they will receive by post in the run up to Christmas.

Hays Travel Charity Christmas Shopper

Join the Hays Travel annual Christmas shopping trip to Leeds on Sunday 3rd December in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice. Tickets are £15pp, 10am pick up from the Dolphin Centre.

There will be a raffle and quiz on the coach, wine and mince pies will also be served.

Santa Run

Darlington Santa Run 2017, sponsored by Lookers Volkswagen Darlington, will take place at West Park Academy on Sunday 3rd December, and is all about having a bit of festive fun!

Every participant will receive a free Santa suit, or a hat for children, and there is no entry fee for anyone under five, or for dogs. You can complete your circuit at your own speed, and as an early Christmas present you will receive a medal and refreshments when you cross the finish line!

The Richmond Town Christmas Market

The Richmond Town Christmas Market 2017 will take place on Sunday 3rd December. This free family day out will feature live entertainment, Christmas stalls, food and drink, emergency services displays, Santa’s Grotto, and much more!

We will be holding our annual Christmas tombola from the 2nd – 23rd December (excluding Sundays). If you would like to volunteer on the stall or you wish to donate prizes, please call the Income Generation Team on 01325 254321. Tickets cost 4 for £1, all proceeds to St Teresa’s Hospice.
