Fundraising for St Teresa's Hospice
St Teresa's Hospice is an independent charity. It costs approximately £1.5 million to provide the professional services we offer. We currently negotiate around 30% of our funding from the government. This leaves over £1 million a year...or almost £19,231 per week... which must be raised to enable us to continue to provide our vital services to people in the community at times of great need.
At home, at work or at play, there are many ways in which you can help to keep our hospice open.
We would be absolutely delighted to meet you if you would like to come and talk about the possibilities for you or for your organisation, club or group to support the hospice. We also give talks to local groups about our work in order to spread the word.
