Nov 14 Giving to Life Tree

The Giving to Life Tree will return to Darlington’s Cornmill Centre again this year from 14th November, offering people the chance to leave a Christmas greeting, a message to loved ones, or the opportunity to remember someone they have lost.

Dec 02 Christmas Tombola

We will be holding our annual Christmas tombola from the 2nd – 16th December (excluding Sundays). If you would like to volunteer on the stall or you wish to donate prizes, please call the Income Generation Team on 01325 254321. Tickets cost 4 for £1, all proceeds to St Teresa’s Hospice.

Dec 17 Light up a Life

Remember a loved one and support your local Hospice. St Teresa’s Hospice will be taking part in the annual Light up a Life appeal later this year, offering you the opportunity to celebrate the life of someone special to you.

Dec 23 Mrs Santa Claus

Come and meet Mrs Claus this Christmas at Panini’s Coffee Shop! For just £5, each child can meet Mrs Claus and will receive a free gift. There will be a free drink for the adult and £1 per child will be donated to St Teresa’s Hospice.

Dec 23 Christmas Cracker Concert

We will hold an evening of festive fun, entertainment and audience sing-a-longs at the Christmas Cracker Concert on 23rd December! All your favourite carols including O Come All Ye Faithful, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, We Wish You a Merry Christmas… and more! Musical Director John Forsyth MBE conducts the “St Teresa” Sinfonia Choir & Orchestra featuring: Cleveland Philharmonic Choir, Cockerton Ladies Choir, Richardson Singers, Egglescliffe Choir, Vocal Collective, Darlington Choral Society, plus excellent soloists, and members of musical ensembles, schools, choral and operatic groups. Featuring the debut performance by the St Teresa's Hospice staff and volunteer choir! Prize for the best Christmas jumper - dress up to get in the spirit! Dec 24 Fonecabin Christmas Raffle

From 1st November Fonecabin are offering the chance to win a brand new iPhone 10 in their Christmas Raffle. Tickets will be available from Fonecabin, Darlington, and cost £10 each with all proceeds being in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice. Only 200 tickets will be available so hurry!

Dec 28 The In-Between Ball

The festive In-Between Ball will be held at Headlam Hall Hotel on Thursday 28th December. Guests will be treated to a three course dinner (sirloin of beef main course), disco and a great live band – Four Worried Men.

Jan 06 Christmas Tree Collection

Real tree, fuss free! Enjoy your real Christmas tree, and we will collect it on Saturday 6th January for a donation in aid of your local Hospice, saving the mess in your car!

Jan 27 Burns Supper

Celebrate the life and works of Robert Burns at our annual Burns Supper which will take place at the Mercure Darlington Kings Hotel on Saturday 27th January 2018. In addition to a delicious four course meal there will also be a raffle, table game and dancing with a traditional ceilidh band.

Mar 24 Andrew Robson Bridge Day

Andrew Robson is coming North! On Saturday 24th March 2018 Andrew will lead a day of Bridge in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice at the Croft Hotel.

Mar 25 Steve Graham Everest Expedition

Darlington based mountaineer and long distance runner Steve Graham will climb Mount Everest in March 2018. As part of his 7 summits challenge, the Everest Expedition will raise as much money as possible for St Teresa's Hospice and Prostate Cancer UK.

Apr 15 Bark in the Park 2018

We are inviting dogs and their well-behaved humans to join us on Sunday 15th April 2018, for our 3rd Bark in the Park at Darlington’s South Park. There is a £5 entry fee per dog, and each entrant will receive a rosette and a goody bag.

Sep 09 Great North Run 2018

If you would like to secure a place to run the Great North Run on 9th September 2018 and wish to raise funds for the Hospice please contact Supporter Services for more information and to be added to our expressions of interest list. All runners will receive a sponsorship pack, which includes sponsor forms and a running vest.
