Hospice at Home

Hospice at Home is provided for those needing practical nursing help, a sitting service, or advice and counselling.
Our nurses, support workers and trained army of volunteers work in the Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Teesdale and North Yorkshire area to provide this service.
Hospice at Home was the first service to be offered by the Darlington & District Hospice Movement, and literally thousands of hours a year are spent on this vital support for patients and their carers.
Referrals are mainly from GPs and District Nurses - but others come from the patients and carers themselves, and from other healthcare professionals.
