One, Two, Tree, Four Years Collecting Christmas Trees

There’s nothing better than decorating the Christmas Tree, and there’s nothing worse than cleaning all those sharp needles out of your car after taking it to the tip. But thanks to St Teresa’s Hospice and Darlington Rotary Club, the only tree in your car will be hanging from the rear-view mirror!

Collectors Mike and Jed
can’t wait to collect YOUR tree this January!

Yes, for the fourth year running, St Teresa’s Hospice has teamed up with Darlington Rotary Club to run Darlington’s Christmas Tree Collection Service, picking up trees from around the region and recycling them after Christmas has passed.

Thanks to the support of everyone involved with this great appeal, last year we collected over 370 trees and raised £3,268.52 for our local Hospice and other Rotary charities.

International vehicle rental firm Enterprise Rent-a-car have also joined in for another year by sending vans to bolster our ranks. This will help our teams to collect even more fabulous firs!

The Christmas Tree Collection will take place on Saturday 10th January 2015. To register your Christmas tree, click here or call the Income Generation Team on 01325 254321.
