Show-stopper Fundraising by Darlington Civic Theatre

Adults and children alike are delighted year after year by the Darlington Civic Theatre pantomime, and last Christmas’s performance of The Chuckles of Oz starring the Chuckle Brothers was no exception.

Front of House Manager Andrew Hutchinson and the Front of House Team present £8,984.19 to Hospice Director Jane Bradshaw

While the cast were wowing audiences with great jokes and 3D effects (and wetting audiences with water-pistols!), the theatre staff were busy too. Every night as audiences left, the theatre’s front of house staff held a retiring collection in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice.

Thanks to the generosity of the people of Darlington and the hard work of Darlington Civic Theatre’s front of house team, we’re overjoyed to announce that this collection has raised an incredible £8,984.19!

St Teresa’s Hospice would like to thank all the wonderful people at Darlington Civic Theatre, particularly Front of House Manager Andrew Hutchinson and his team, as well as the cast and crew of The Chuckles of Oz, and everybody who went to see a great show and generously gave to their local Hospice afterwards.
