Don’t be late for a very important date!

It’s time for a little madness at our annual Midnight Walk. This year, you’re invited to a very special party as we take a trip down the rabbit hole and into Wonderland to celebrate 30 years of Hospice Care in our community.

The annual women-only walk is expected to attract hundreds of people for the best ‘girls night out’ in either Darlington or Wonderland! So if you can believe in six impossible things before breakfast, then join us on 17th June at South Park, Darlington. Registration is now open for the frabjous day, just visit to sign-up.

With a choice of 1.5 or 3 miles to walk, it’s recommended to “start at the beginning, and go on till you come to the end: then stop”. Fancy dress isn’t necessary, but it’s highly encouraged! We want to see the best Alices, Mad Hatters, March Hares, White Rabbits, Cheshire Cats, Queens, and more step out of the looking glass for a night of nonsense.

We ask everyone who takes part to do their best to raise £50 sponsorship to help terminally ill people in South Durham and North Yorkshire. We’re here to help and support you reach this goal; you’ll get a pack of tips and information in the post, and you can always contact our Fundraising team for support and advice.

Look out for plenty of surprises on the night – you might think you’ve gone mad, but let me tell you something: all the best people are!

Sign-up now at and don’t be late for a very important date.
