Easter Egg Tombola

Darlington’s most egg-citing charity event is back for another year!

The Grand Easter Egg Tombola returned to Queen Street Shopping Centre on Saturday, and over the next two weeks will give away hundreds of chocolate eggs to eager members of the public.

Dedicated Hospice volunteers will be running the Tombola every day (except Sundays) until Easter Saturday on 26th March.

Last year, the Tombola raised over £10,000 to help terminally ill people and their families in Darlington and the surrounding area, thanks to the generosity of the people of our community, and the kind support of everyone who donated or sponsored Easter eggs.

If you’d like to donate an Easter egg for the Tombola, you can drop donations into any of our charity shops, or to St Teresa’s Hospice on Woodlands Road. If you’re collecting eggs from friends, family, colleagues or customers to donate, or if you’re interested in holding your own Easter Raffle, then give us a ring on 01325 254321, and we’ll be happy to help. As always, a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who’s supported our appeal.

On Good Friday and Easter Saturday, we’ll be adding two very special prizes: GIANT EASTER EGGS, made by Jilly’s Cakes for All Occasions. So, make sure to come down to Queen Street for the chance to win some delicious chocolate, and the certainty of helping a vital local cause!
