A terrier-rific day!

All is set for a great day in the park with our four-legged friends on Sunday 10th April.

In what’s become Darlington’s biggest-ever sponsored dog walk, we’re excited to announce that the Bark in the Park has so far attracted almost 200 caring canines, two very confused cats and one seriously optimistic goldfish.

Bark in the Park is a chance for the dogs of Darlington to come together at South Park and raise money to help terminally ill people and their families by supporting the work of St Teresa’s Hospice.

We’ve been overwhelmed with fab photos of dogs that are signing-up, so keep them coming by sharing your experience with the hashtag #DarloBark

The walk route loops through the beautiful setting of South Park. Food and refreshments will be available, with plenty of doggy delights on offer, including free goody bags and rosettes for each furry fundraiser, a ‘have a go’ agility course, a ‘best dressed dog’ competition, a doggy deli and chances to win everything from dog treats to a £100 Pets at Home voucher.

You’d have to be barking mad to miss out, so register your poochy pal now at to guarantee your place and goody bag, and join us at Bark in the Park 2016 on Sunday 10th April.
