MOR Uke’s Charity Concert

MOR Uke’s ukulele band will be holding a charity concert in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice on Saturday 27th July at the Wilson Centre in Long Newton. The concert will feature a variety of well-known tunes from the 1920’s to the present day, and there will also be a raffle. SG Petch Darlington 10K Run

Ian and Louise Clough, from The ORB Micro Brewery, are running the SG Petch Darlington 10K Run on Sunday 11th August. Great North Run 2019

If you would like to secure a place to run the Great North Run on 8th September 2019 and wish to raise funds for the Hospice please contact Supporter Services for more information and to be added to our expressions of interest list. Hurworth Country Fair

Time: 10.30am – 4.00pm

Hurworth Country Fair will return to the grounds of Hurworth Grange on Saturday 14th September 2019. Proceeds are in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice & Hurworth Community Association. This exciting event will feature a fantastic range of activities, performances and stalls, making it a great family day out. The fair will open at 10.30am and closes at 4pm. With plenty of free parking nearby the cost is just £4 for adults and £1 for children. There will be free programmes on the day to let you know what’s on! This Is What It Takes: Hospice Care Week 2019

Each year we join Hospice UK and other local hospices for a week of celebration and action. It’s a chance for us to reflect on the difference hospice care makes to people’s lives and to thank everyone involved in making it possible. Moonlight & Memories Walk

Take a night-time stroll in and around South Park, Darlington in memory of a loved one on Friday 18th October. Entry £5, or £10 with t-shirt Everyone welcome (including the dog!) Make a Will Month

What will your legacy be? Throughout October we will be holding our Make a Will Month. During this time you can make a free appointment to make or change your Will, in return for a donation to the Hospice of £80 (Single Will) or £150 (Double Will). Legacies form a key part of the on-going funding of St Teresa’s Hospice, and gifts that have been left to us have helped us to continue to provide our vital services in Darlington & District. Designer Makers Market

Designer Makers Market showcases the very best regional designers and craftspeople, with original work and a strong up-cycled theme. Meet the designer makers and buy handcrafted goods of gallery quality. Some will be demonstrating their skills and others will be running ‘have-a-go’ sessions. Light up a Life

Remember a loved one and support your local Hospice. St Teresa’s Hospice will be taking part in the annual Light up a Life appeal later this year, offering you the opportunity to celebrate the life of someone special to you. All donors receive a beautiful card with their loved one’s name inscribed, and a light will be lit on one of our special trees. Light up a Life is open to everyone regardless of their race or religion, whether or not their loved one was cared for by St Teresa’s Hospice. A Dedication Service and Lighting Ceremony will take place

Christmas Cracker Concert

We will hold an evening of festive fun, entertainment and audience sing-a-longs at the Christmas Cracker Concert on Saturday 21st December! All your favourite carols including O Come All Ye Faithful, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, We Wish You a Merry Christmas… and more! Musical Director John Forsyth MBE will conduct the “St Teresa” Sinfonia Choir & Orchestra featuring members of musical ensembles, schools, choral and operatic groups.
